Thank you for your respective correspondence regarding the Board Seat 14 Selection Process.  The NCPH is committed to resolving the issue in a transparent and fair manner.  As both of you have expressed interest in the process, Julf, Paul and I cordially invite to observe this morning’s facilitated discussion.

There is one area where both sides of the NCPH are in complete alignment; all efforts to resolve our differences and find a satisfactory path forward shall be transparent.

Schedules permitting, it may be advantageous for you to observe the conversation.  This would give you the opportunity to assess the situation firsthand.

If you choose to attend, and we sincerely hope that you do, we ask that you observe only.  As this is our first face to face on the subject, we have limited the opportunity for interventions to NCPH ExCom members only.  We believe this strikes the appropriate balance between transparency and creating conditions for meaningful exchange.

We thank you, too, for allocating Melissa’s time to helping us resolve our open issues.  She suggested that we might use our NomCom Councilor, Paul, for this stage of the facilitation and we appreciate her diligence in finding workable solutions.
