Here is a little more about what we do:

Digital Grassroots unites a group of volunteers from the internet governance ecosystem (goals, design, infrastructure, technology and policy) to introduce young people from around the world (ambassadors) to the world/language of Internet Governance. The goal is to train these youngambassadors through courses and mentorship to become fluent in the "lingo" of internet governance, become advocates for their communities, create content about challenges in their communities, countries, region and literally be in the decision-making room when policies and laws are made to expand, reduce or manage the use of internet. For successful cohorts of the Ambassadors program has been held amongst other engagements within the Internet Governance space. https://www.digitalgrassroots.org/ [digitalgrassroots.org]

Digital Grassroots is a non-profit registered under the Nigerian Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) asDigital Grassroots Global Support Initiative operating globally but with Office base in Lagos, Nigeria. The organization so far has been a recipient of small grants majorly from Internet Society.

Our interest in NPOC is to support capacity building for stakeholders and end users on domain name abuse, intellectual property abuse, privacy and cyber security as it relates to ICANN’s core mission.
