[EC-NCSG] Fwd: Introduction of IFLA

Dear Robin and NCSG Executive members,

This email is a request that the initial evaluation be completed on the
pending applications for NCSG membership. I understand this may not be a
complete evaluation by all NCSG Executive Members (as Alain is absent and
the NPOC Executive has not yet filled this role).

In particular, I have received an email from the International Federation
of Library Associations who submitted their membership application on 3
April 2013 (number 3 on the Pending NCSG Membership Applications
spreadsheet). I have suggested to the applicant that a substantive initial
evaluation would be done in the next few days and hope your schedule will
make this possible.

Do let me know if there will be any delay with this application or others,
so I may keep NPOC applicants apprised.

application is important to us and I have submitted approval on the initial
evaluation phase.

I have also drawn special attention of your application to the NCSG
Executive membership and look forward to their approval or comment within
the next few days.

Please be aware that Alain has been ill and is recovering away from his
computer, therefore I will be taking the lead on ensuring your application
is approved and liaising with you on any comment or follow up required.
