I have not chosen this way. The complaint has not been filed by me; it has been made by Jim Bikoff on behalf of 3 pro bono clients
[Milton L Mueller] We know that. Bikoff will lose his complaint as his application is not compliant with the NCSG charter and GNSO rules.
Why are you defending his false arguments?

which NPOC EC wishes to welcome in its Constituency.
[Milton L Mueller] Why? Add members at any cost, even if they are not real? We would all appreciate a better explanation of your rationale for accepting ineligible members.

NPOC EC members have known for a long time that networks that behave inclusively grow and become robust and sustainable. This is a driving principle for NPOC.
[Milton L Mueller] Rules about eligibility by their very nature exclude some. You know as well as I do that there are good reasons for enforcing eligibility requirements in order to maintain the representative, non-captured nature of the NCSG and GNSO.

I note that you admit that legacies beyond my control are influencing the way you look at current NPOC membership issues.
[Milton L Mueller] I have made no such admission. My examination of current NCSG membership is based entirely on the facts about the charter rules, GNSO rules, and Bikoff's actual status as a full-fledged member of IPC.
Really, Alain, try to respond in substantive terms to the arguments against its eligibility. We would all appreciate it and the dialogue would be more meaningful
