[Ncsg-discuss] Invitation: Africa Youth IGF 2026 Youth Consultation

Dear NCSG Community,

I would like to share an invitation to the upcoming Africa Youth Internet
Governance Forum (Africa Youth IGF) 2026 Youth Consultation, taking place
virtually on Thursday, 17 September 2026 at 14:00 UTC.

As preparations continue for this year’s Africa Youth IGF, the consultation
will provide an opportunity for young people across Africa to help shape
the Forum’s theme, priority issues, programme direction, and expected
outcomes.

Given NCSG’s strong engagement on issues such as human rights, privacy,
freedom of expression, access, accountability, digital inclusion, and the
public interest in Internet governance, I believe this consultation may be
particularly relevant to young people within our community and wider
networks.

Duration: 90 minutes
Venue: Zoom

Participants will have the opportunity to share the Internet governance
issues they believe should receive greater attention in Africa and help
identify priorities that should inform the Africa Youth IGF 2026.
