Hello,

Thank you for the ICANN87 NCPH Day 0 presentation. I appreciate the focus on the risks of disproportionate whole-domain blocking and the call for clear safeguards and guiding principles. I support the emphasis on greater definitional clarity throughout the report and the need for the ADC framework to remain within ICANN’s technical and contractual remit. I also strongly agree with the proposals for a baseline standard on registrant access to recourse and remedy, as well as minimum transparency and notification requirements. One suggestion: consider explicitly linking the recourse and remedy proposals to existing ICANN contractual mechanisms to ensure feasibility and consistency.

Hi everyone,

Looking forward to seeing many of you soon in Bali!

In preparation for Friday's day 0 event, I have put together some slides on the following topics for which I have been assigned as lead (thanks @Rafik Dammak<mailto:rafik.dammak at gmail.com>!):

DNS abuse implementation, safeguards and registrant and end-user rights / access
  *
Registrant remedies and due process

The slides are attached in pp form. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns!

If you could please share any feedback or comments by COB Wednesday (tomorrow) that would be greatly appreciated. That way Rafik can send off to ICANN staff in preparation for Friday's day 0 meeting.
