process with regard to approving ICANN bylaws change and using the
Empowered Community powers to approve or object to them.

The Approval Action Community Forum
<https://icann86.sched.com/event/2NQQy/icann-empowered-community-community-forum>
will be held during ICANN86 on Thursday, 11 June 2026, from 08:00–09:15 UTC
(10:00–11:15 CEST).

Following the close of the Approval Action Community Forum Period on 11
June 2026 at 23:59 CEST, the 21-day Approval Action Decision Period will
begin. During this period, *each Decisional Participant must inform the EC
Administration in writing* whether it:

   - supports the Approval Action;
   - objects to the Approval Action; or
   - abstains from the matter.

*The Approval Action Decision Period will expire on Thursday, 2 July 2026
at 23:59 PST*. Any Decisional Participant that has not notified the EC
Administration of its position by that deadline will be deemed to have
abstained.

To avoid missing the deadline, please schedule this matter for
consideration by your respective SO/AC Councils as soon as possible
following the Seville meeting.

To approve an Approval Action, and for the Fundamental Bylaws Amendments to
be effective, the following is required:

   - at least three (3) Decisional Participants must support the Approval
   Action; and
   - no more than one (1) Decisional Participant may object.
