Thank you very much for the warm welcome.

My name is David Inem from Nigeria (Africa), and I am truly pleased to be part of the NCSG family and mailing list. I’m excited to join such a dynamic team and look forward to contributing meaningfully while also learning from the wealth of experience within the group.

By way of introduction, I am a cybersecurity professional with experience in operations and logistics, and I also have an academic background in international relations. In addition, I serve as a STEM Festival community coordinator, where I support initiatives that promote technology, education, innovation, and collaboration in solving real-world problems.

I appreciate the opportunity to be here and look forward to engaging with everyone.

As the NCSG chair, I am happy to provide help and assist our new members to become involved and active participants in our stakeholder group and in ICANN in general. They can also count on other members for onboarding and support. Please feel free to reach me off-list if you have any questions or you want to have a chat for more clarification.

The chair of the NCSG Policy Committee will be sharing updates on public comments and opportunities to participate in working groups and policy discussions. As usual, we have several drafts in progress that will be shared for review and input.

We held our discussion in this mailing list. In addition to that, we have our monthly Policy call and sometimes webinars on specific issues, details will be shared in the mailing list. We also have several sessions during ICANN meetings and everyone can join remotely. You will also see we have several public consultations to respond to and volunteers drafting comments on behalf of NCSG.

Feel free to reply to this thread and present yourself to other members and ask any questions.
