[Ncsg-discuss] 2026 NCSG Election Results

hi all,

First, congratulations to those elected for leadership roles as chair and
councillors for this year's election and with term starting during the AGM
in October in Bali meeting.
I want to thank those who volunteered and ran for the election, submitting
their statement and responding to members' questions. It is not easy to
volunteer and participate in such a process.

I want to thank our members who voted and we can see from the results that
every casted vote mattered. Regular elections and members voting are
important parts of our governance and accountability mechanism in NCSG
ensuring the renewal of leadership, representation and our legitimacy as a
group. We hope for more and more participation in future elections.

The NCSG EC will do its best in the coming months to work on operating
procedures for next elections, clarifying rules etc strengthening the
process.

With that said, seeing you all soon in the ICANN meeting in Seville, F2F or
remotely.
