Dear  Prof.,
Happy New Year to you.
Thank you for sharing this concern. It appears that GoDaddy's intention is
to offer domain blocking to people, even to those who don’t have
trademarks. This development is concerning and requires further discussion
within the NCSG and a response as well (some form of advocacy). The service
has the potential to undermine freedom of expression (a Human Rights
issue)  , especially for small organizations and individuals.
