*Dear colleagues,*
Thank you very much to the NCSG Executive Committee and Chair for the warm
welcome.
My name is Mutegeki Cliff Agaba, and I am based in Kampala, Uganda. I work
at the intersection of digital policy, internet governance, and digital
trade, with a strong focus on strengthening critical internet
infrastructure and advancing inclusive digital transformation.
I am the convener of the Uganda DNS Forum, a multistakeholder platform that
brings together government, private sector, technical community, academia,
and civil society to engage on DNS-related issues in Uganda. My work also
focuses on promoting Universal Acceptance and bridging the digital divide
through multilingual internet initiatives.
I have actively participated in several ICANN and Internet Governance
processes, and I am particularly interested in contributing to discussions
around:
- DNS ecosystem development and resilience
- Universal Acceptance and digital inclusion
- Policy frameworks that support equitable access to the domain name
space
- Multistakeholder collaboration in the Global South
I look forward to engaging in NCSG policy discussions, contributing to
public comments, and joining relevant working groups.
I am happy to connect and collaborate with fellow members.
Mutegeki Cliff Agaba
