I have been monitoring the process Judith, Bruna has been actively engaged.
We even led an informal group at the GNSO council that did the mapping of
GNSO policies to WSIS Action Lines, we endorsed IGP's WSIS comment. We did
a WSIS+20 session at NCUC, we are going to do another at NCSG in Dublin. We
asked numerous times to be involved as GNSO or as NCSG on ICANN panels at
the IGF and WSIS conference, they said it was not possible. And I don't
think it's ever a justified response that we were not active. we have a
pool of experts monitoring these issues. Even if we don't insist to be
included they should include us. But they don't. And honestly, I have given
up on insisting to be included. These sessions are not very fruitful anyway
and if we focus on writing up feedback and just engage with WSIS+20
directly we are better off.
