Hi Rafik,
I believe the most important question is to better understand what the
Board identifies as the shortcomings or current aspects to be improved
within ICANN, especially regarding how its community functions. It would be
useful to understand where NCSG can help and what potential disagreements
are in that regard - this is also related to strategic objectives 1
("Evolve and promote ICANN’s multistakeholder model to sustain its
inclusive approach to Internet governance") and 2 ("Enhance
organizational excellence"), especially in the context of the WSIS+20
process and the defense of the multistakeholder model as the best viable
alternative.
Or, summarizing, what the Board understands as the role of the community in
achieving these objectives, and what needs to improve to guarantee that
this role is being fulfilled.
Cordially,
*Pedro de Perdigão Lana*
