[Ncsg-discuss] NextGen at ICANN86 Applications

ICANN is excited to announce that the NextGen at ICANN application round for ICANN86 will open on 1 December.

The NextGen at ICANN program is committed to nurturing future leaders who will shape global Internet policy through participation in Internet governance. You’ll also get to learn more about ICANN’s unique role in the Internet’s critical functions and its multistakeholder governance model where many different stakeholders participate.

ICANN fully funds accepted NextGen at ICANN participants’ travel to the meeting location, lodging,
and provides a modest stipend.

To be eligible for NextGen at ICANN, applicants must be:


  *   Enrolled as an undergraduate, graduate, or doctoral student.
  *   Between the ages of 18 and 30 at the time of the ICANN meeting.
  *   Currently living and studying in the region of the respective ICANN meeting. Find your ICANN region here<https://meetings.icann.org/en/regions>.
  *   Interested in Internet Governance, the future of the Internet, and other topics covered at ICANN meetings.
  *   If selected, participants must be able to attend the ICANN meeting and required events.
  *   If selected, participants must be willing to present a 5-10 minute project at the meeting.
