Hi everyone,

Since we do not have a PC chair at this moment, I am taking the liberty to share with you all four public comments that are open and seem at least somewhat important to the non-commercial mission:

Name: Draft LAC Regional Strategic Plan for Fiscal Years 2026–2030
Deadline for input: 24 November 2025 at 23:59 UTC.
https://www.icann.org/en/public-comment/proceeding/draft-lac-regional-strategic-plan-for-fiscal-years-20262030-13-10-2025
This proceeding invites feedback on the draft regional strategic plan for the Latin America & Caribbean (LAC) region covering FY 2026-2030. It seeks community input on key regional priorities, how ICANN org can support outreach, capacity building, and stakeholder participation in the region
(We don't have much time to write this one, so we would have to do it very quickly as to allow the Policy Committee to have at least 24h to review)

Name: String Similarity Evaluation Data for New gTLD Program: Next Round
Deadline for input: 4 December 2025 at 23:59 UTC.
 Link: https://www.icann.org/en/public-comment/proceeding/string-similarity-evaluation-data-for-new-gtld-program-next-round-16-10-2025
This proceeding publishes the string similarity evaluation data and invites feedback as part of preparing for the next round of the new generic top-level domains (gTLD) program. The aim is to help prevent user confusion by evaluating visually or scriptually similar domain strings and obtaining community input on the proposed similar code-points and their similarity degrees.

Name: Registration Data Request Service (RDRS) Policy Alignment Analysis
Deadline for input: 9 December 2025 at 23:59 UTC.
 Link: https://www.icann.org/en/public-comment/proceeding/registration-data-request-service-rdrs-policy-alignment-analysis-30-10-2025
This proceeding invites input on a policy-alignment analysis regarding the Registration Data Request Service (RDRS). The analysis addresses gaps and alignment issues between RDRS and other disclosure/access systems (such as the System for Standardised Access/Disclosure). The aim is to gather community feedback on next steps and possible policy adjustments.

Name: Timeline for Urgent Requests for Lawful Disclosure of Non-public Registration Data
Deadline for input: 15 December 2025 at 23:59 UTC.
 Link: https://www.icann.org/en/public-comment/proceeding/timeline-for-urgent-requests-for-lawful-disclosure-of-nonpublic-registration-data-22-10-2025
This proceeding seeks community input on proposed language and timelines for handling urgent lawful disclosure requests for non-public registration data (for example, when there are imminent threats to life, serious infrastructure, or child exploitation). It aims to define a faster, dedicated timeline for such urgent disclosure requests, which is currently missing in policy.

Let me know if we have volunteers who wish to lead and/or assist in writing contributions for those Public Comments, and I will create the Google Docs with our template to comment. Since I won't be able to lead one of those this time, I will wait to have at least one volunteer to create the shared doc.

Please note that each of those deadlines, with the exception of the first, is actually 72 hours before the listed date, to allow the NCSG Policy Committee to review the text.

Cordially,
