In my capacity as a member of the PIR Board, I share that the .ORG 
Impact Awards are open for nomination (including self-nomination). This 
is an excellent program that encourages registrants of .ORG domain names 
to share their wonderful work with the Public Interest Registry and the 
world.

DotORG Impact Awards 2025 (up to $50,000) Deadline: 4 June, 2025

Applications are open for the DotORG Impact Awards 2025. The .ORG Impact 
Awards is a global awards program to recognize and celebrate individuals 
and organizations that have a connection to a registered .ORG domain for 
their contributions, achievements and impact they have made in their 
communities.

 From groundbreaking initiatives to steadfast changemakers, the .ORG 
Impact Awards recognize the profound impact happening in communities 
across the globe. PIR is proud to shine a light on the tireless efforts 
and relentless commitment of the .ORG Community and champion those 
working every day to create positive change and a better tomorrow.

  * Quality Education for All
  * Health and Healing
  * Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
  * Environmental Stewardship
  * Community Building
  * Hunger and Poverty
  * Rising Star
  * .ORG of the Year

Benefits

  * Receive a Significant Cash Donation: Selected individuals and
    organizations are eligible to receive up to a $50,000 USD donation
    to the non-profit of their choice, including outstanding finalists.
  * Build Community: Show the world how your .ORG is impacting the
    community! Build support, generate funding, and rally others to your
    cause. Serve as a shining example to others, striving to make a
    better world for us all.
  * Prestigious Awards: Display your custom .ORG Impact Award to let the
    world know that your organization is achieving amazing results and
    making a difference. Finalists will be invited to attend the
    in-person gala in Washington DC (including travel and accommodations)!
  * Raise Awareness: Finalists and winners will be featured across a
    variety of .ORG platforms throughout the year, including videos,
    articles, social posts, and more!

Eligibility

  * Open only to individuals who are at least 18 years old and have
    permission to nominate the individual or entity that uses or has a
    connection to the .ORG domain.
  * Employees of Public Interest Registry and any of its parent and
    affiliate companies, as well as the immediate family and household
    members of each such employee, are not eligible to nominate
    individuals or entities or be considered as a nominee for any award.

Application Deadline: June 4, 2025
