My full name is Taiwo Peter Akinremi, but within the ICANN community, I’m
known simply as Peter. I reside in Ohio, North America, and my professional
focus is on researching the cyber resilience of critical infrastructure.

I declare that there is no conflict of interest that would prevent me from
continuing to serve as your NCSG Councilor.

Currently, I am one of the six NCSG Councilors representing our stakeholder
group on the GNSO Council. Engagement on the Council especially regarding
gTLD policy development is historically deep, layered, and complex. This
work is not the effort of any one individual but rather the result of close
collaboration among all NCSG Councilors. Through this teamwork, we ensure
that the voice of the non-commercial community is both present and
impactful in Council deliberations.

Our visibility and effectiveness on the GNSO Council have been strengthened
by our coordinated participation, which helps maintain, supports more
informed, and strategic engagement. By working closely with fellow
Councilors, I have helped ensure that the NCSG perspective is clearly
articulated in policy discussions and decision-making processes.

With strong relationships and mutual respect among my fellow Councilors, I
remain committed to advocating for the interests of the NCSG and the
broader ICANN community.

In the years ahead, the GNSO Council will face key initiatives where
non-commercial perspectives must play a central role. These include, among
others:

   - The next round of new gTLDs
   - DNS abuse mitigation
   - Human rights impact assessments
   - WHOIS/Registration data policy
   - Internationalized Domain Names (IDNs) implementation
   - ·Policy reviews mechanisms

If re-elected, I will continue to work in sync with fellow Councilors,
striving to be an effective policy manager through the lens of the NCSG. I
will remain actively involved in Policy Development Processes (PDPs), GNSO
small teams, and other critical working groups.

In summary, I remain committed to strengthening the role of non-commercial
voices within the Council and across the ICANN ecosystem ensuring that our
shared vision of a free, open, and human-centered internet continues to
thrive.

Warm regards,
*Taiwo **Peter Akinremi*
