*Reasons for willingness to take on the position: *

I joined ICANN in 2012 through the fellowship programme, and after a long
time serving as a member of NCSG, in several working groups and committees,
now I would like to be one of the NCSG council elected and work on behalf
of our community but in a more strategic way.

I am familiar with GNSO policies, processes and procedures, following the
changes happening there but also the challenges for many PDP processes
lately.

I have been following new gTLD processes for many years . As well as the
cross-community working group on Internet Governance which covered IG
topics and WSIS from ICANN perspectives.

I had the opportunity to learn ICANN policies and explore various
constituencies and groups policies.


*Qualifications for the position:*

I am computer and telecom engineer, internet governance graduate and with a
good experience in Data Governance, and ICT policies where I had the
opportunity to benefit from many awards with Carnegie Mellon University,
Commonwealth, La francophonie, ITU, etc.

I am a founding member of the ISOC Cameroon, founding member of the African
School of IG in 2011. As a former chair of the African center for advocacy,
I have a good experience in advocacy and management of organization.

As NCUC delegate to the NOMCOM, I had the opportunity to understand
required experiences for leadership positions in ICANN.org. And I possess
those abilities and experience.

With a good knowledge of NCSG policies and challenges. I am now ready to
contribute to the NCSG policies work through a leadership position and to
promote community interests.

I was part of the GNSO Review Working Group, which allowed me to understand
our influence within the Council. In addition, the GNSO Operating
Procedures deepened my knowledge of the tools needed to support policies
and defend the interests of the community. Similarly, ICANN Lean was an
important support to enrich my knowledge.

I confirm that I have the required availability to focus on the needed
discussions and processes



*Additional information: *

GNSO remains the center point and sole responsible for gTLD policy making
and management. Councilors have an important role to be aware about the
council discussions and topics brought for council attention, report them
and participate on all the small teams and drafting activities, review all
the documents, ask the right questions and get detailed responses from
ICANN staff. And continue to learn and understand GNSO operating procedures.
