Hi Farzi, all,
I would mention the existing stimulus for a continuing conversation between
the different groups within ICANN, including bilateral meetings and
back-and-forth decision-making, highlighting the existing mechanisms with
GAC. This serves to show how there is a real intent of searching for
consensus and leveling the debate while recognizing the need to have
diffeent, even if this means creating a complex framework of rules and
procedures - and how this reflects on a higher acceptability of the
outcomes by a global community of agents involved in the DNS, providing a
much more stable process (even in comparison to intergovernamental ones, in
which a single important country interest can block the action of all the
others).
