For ALAC meeting, I am planning to showcase some of the human rights impact
assessment we are already doing. The two examples are on Transfer Policy
Review and our letter to GAC.

For SSAC meeting, for my part I am going to lay out the principles that
NCSG wants to see protected: Authentication of third parties does not mean
automatic access to domain name registrants private, sensitive data,
registrars have to do a fundamental rights balancing, globally before
disclosing. For accuracy, our principles is that accuracy is solely about
contactability, no matter how much research is done to show identity
verification reduces abuse, identification of domain name registrants has
so many human rights and privacy implications. We shouldn't combat abuse
through intrusive, privacy violating mechanisms.


We also want to discuss their DNS blocking report. NCSG doesn't have a
position on that, but if I may I will bring up a few points from research
that was done by Digital Medusa.
