Council update

Hi all,


Here’s a brief update on what’s happening in the Council:

• Transfer Policy: A vote on this is coming up soon.

• DNS Abuse: There’s no movement on this at the Council level, but NCSG and
CPH are organizing a session on Human Rights Impact Assessments (HRIA) and
guidelines for registrars.

• Billing Contact: The issue remains unresolved after the GNSO Ciuncil
Chair assigned it to leadership for further work. It was argued that
billing contact wasn’t discussed during the EPDP (which I disagree with),
and now leadership is looking for possible solutions.

• GNSO Informal IG Group: We’ve met and are working on updating the Council
while staying in touch with the GAC.
