Dear members of ICANN’s Non-Contracted Parties House,

I am writing to introduce myself to you, and to invite you all to a meeting to get to know ICANN’s new CEO and President, Kurtis Lindqvist, on Monday 3 March at 17:15 UTC. My name is Russ Weinstein, and I have the honor and privilege of being appointed by Kurtis to serve as the new Senior Vice-President for Policy Development Support. I am excited about the opportunity to work with all of you and the rest of the community, and to supporting your policy work along with my colleagues in the Policy Development Support team. The stability, security, and resiliency of the Internet depend on a collaborative approach, and Kurtis and I look forward to engaging with you as we continue to shape the future of this vital resource together.

Over the coming months, Kurtis and I plan to take time to gain a deeper understanding of each of the groups that comprise the NCPH and your common interests, as well as the specific issues that your group is concerned about. We hope to have the opportunity to listen to your perspectives and learn how we can best achieve our mutual goals. I am thrilled to be working with the talented members of the Policy Development Support team, who will keep us on course as we focus on our shared mission of serving the global Internet community.

I look forward to meeting you all and on collaborating on the important work ahead. Thank you for your continued commitment to ICANN and for the role you play in ensuring that ICANN’s consensus policies are developed through a truly bottom-up and multi-stakeholder process.
