[Ncsg-discuss] Search Committee for Board seat no 14/call for applicants will be open soon

Hi NCSG,

As you know we decided to open the call for candidates for Board seat 14.
At the moment Chris Buckridge is serving in that seat. We are going to have
an open call for applicants very soon and the deadline is tight. Mid
January I believe. Chris is eligible to stay in the process.
I am going to spread the word about this process on LinkedIn and other
platforms. You should do too when the call is out.

This seat is selected by CSG and NCSG. So the appointee can't be avid
"abolish intellectual property rights" advocates, they  can't also be
supportive of intellectual property overreach or be indifferent to privacy
and freedom of speech. Also we can't appoint somebody from North America
(the threshold is at max).

I will send the call for applicants when it's ready.
