Dear all,

Farzaneh and I would like to cordially invite you to an event hosted by the NCSG in collaboration with the CPH DNS Abuse WG. The event will take place on Sunday 10 November at 10:30-12pm GMT+3 (local time) in Istanbul with strong remote participation support. The session will explore the human rights implications of different DNS abuse cases and consider the different approaches registries and registrars can take to mitigate abuse, with a focus on the human rights dimension.

Please see here to access the agenda: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1IIp9P0iwQbcu04j_HZH8vkzLcdlJ2pD85_FkDfuzwps/edit?usp=sharing. A big thank you to everyone who contributed to shaping it. As you will see from the agenda, we have facilitators instead of speakers as we want people to really engage. We welcome suggested invitees and please do extend this invitation to your colleagues.

As reminder, to join sessions either in-person or remotely you must be registered for ICANN81. Zoom links will be posted on the schedule until 24 hours before the session. The session webpage can be accessed here: https://icann81.sched.com/event/1p2HL/gnso-dns-abuse-mitigation-and-human-rights-impact-assessment This is going to be a very interactive session, and we look forward to everyone’s participation.

We hope you can make it!

Best,

Michaela
