SPIRT Charter Draft

Hello all,

I just wanted to bring to your attention that the council will be getting
an update and discussing the draft SPIRT charter. While that draft is not
yet available to us, we understand that the drafting team achieved
consensus today on a requirement for participants on the SPIRT team to
disclose (initially and on an ongoing basis) the identity of persons or
entities to which the member provides legal, financial, consulting or other
services. The team concluded that this Charter language recommendation
follows naturally from the "additional information" language in Annex E of
the Sub Pro Final report.

I know that NCSG strongly supports disclosure of conflict of interest, but
thought you should be aware of this development. @Bolutife Adisa
<adisabolutifeo at gmail.com> is our rep on the drafting team, I am sure he is
happy to have any questions you may have on this.

Warmly,
Tomslin
