Dear NCSG,
As you know I am along with Stephanie representing NCSG on RDRS SC. RDRS is
the system that triages the requests submitted for accessing registrants
private information to the respective domain name registrar. RDRS is a
pilot project and the group is reporting on its findings.
We have to comment on the following:
1. *Trends Identified*: Observations on the pilot's outcomes and any
patterns you have noted.
2. *Technical Updates*: Suggestions for specific improvements to the
system’s functionality or user experience.
3. *Lessons Learned*: Insights based on the pilot's performance that may
shape our recommendations.
4. *Proposed Recommendations*: Concrete suggestions for the next steps,
whether technical, policy-related, or procedural.
I think our recommendations (as we expressed before) should revolve around
how to keep the system transparent and accountable. We could also
recommend a Data Protection Impact Assessment and a Human Rights Impact
Assessment. It can be periodic. The deadline for this is December 3. I will
try to put some feedback in the worksheet along those lines.
