ICANN Board Seeks Input on Applicant Support Program Use of Auction Proceeds

Hi members,

The ICANN Board is requesting for the community's input on the proposed use
of existing auction proceeds to partially fund the Applicant Support
Program (ASP) for the New gTLD Program: Next Round.

The ASP has been one of our top policy priorities this year leading to the
upcoming New gTLD Program and the Board's consideration of SubPro
recommendations which relate to the program. So, I am sure NCSG will have a
lot to say on this topic. Deadline is short though, by *12 August 2024*, so
we have to move fast. We'll need the inputs all in by next Friday *9 August
2024*.

I have also created a Google doc

to facilitate collection of the input. The input will be sent via board
correspondence, so I expect that the NCSG Chair @Johan Helsingius
