Dear NCSG members,

My name is Manju Chen. I'm one of your representatives on GNSO Council and
currently a member of the Council Committee for Overseeing and Implementing
Continuous Improvement (CCOICI), representing NCSG. We also have Juan
and Wisdom
on the committee, representing NPOC and NCUC respectively.

The GNSO Council has requested the CCOICI to review a number of WS2 items
that are Council specific. The items assigned to the CCOICI includes:

   - Review the staff assessment of GNSO Council’s implementation status of
   Recommendation 2 Guidelines for Good Faith Conduct (2.1, 2.2) and
   Recommendation 6 SO/AC Accountability (6.1-6.5);
   - Recommendation 1 Diversity – revisit Council’s initial prioritization
   and carry out implementation for applicable sub recommendations, if any;
   - Recommendation 3 Human Rights Framework – carry out implementation
   from GNSO Council’s perspective;
   - Recommendation 6.1.5 (non-mandatory) – discuss whether the GNSO
   Council wishes to implement, and if so, how to implement;
   - Rank Recommendations 1, 2.3 and 3 from Council’s perspective to help
   inform the prioritization by the Community Coordination Group.

We are currently waiting for the background briefing from staff regarding
the above items. At the same time, the members of the CCOICI are asked to
reach out to our SGs, looking for WS2 experts willing to assist us in this
task.

The experts won't have to attend our meetings. They will just be our human
library for the WS2 recommendations, explaining to us the intention of each
recommendations, etc. Kind of like the IRT but with no meetings or
homework.

Should any of our NCSG members who are WS2 experts be interested in helping
us with this task, please let us know! We definitely need your knowledge
and expertise on this topic.

Thank you and stay safe!

Best,
Manju
