*NEW:****ICANN Presents Estimated SSAD Costs and Fees to the GAC*
On 11 January 2022, ICANN org briefed the Governmental Advisory
Committee (GAC) on the progress of the Operational Design Phase (ODP)
for the System for Standardized Access/Disclosure (SSAD) to Nonpublic
generic top-level domain (gTLD) Registration Data. During the session,
the SSAD ODP project team presented the estimated costs and fees
associated with the SSAD, as well as conclusions the team drew from its
work, and fielded questions for discussion. The final product of the ODP
is an Operational Design Assessment (ODA), which is expected to be
delivered to the Board and published next month.
