[NCUC-DISCUSS] Call for Applications: Expedited Policy Development Process (EPDP) on Internationalized Domain Names (IDNs)

Thanks so much.

I think unfortunately we are again at a disadvantage because CSG can have 9
members and we can only have 3. This has become a dangerous precedent which
ICANN staff and community members do not take into consideration that the
representation is not balanced. Imagine having 6 business and Intellectual
property activists and lawyers on a team while we can only have three
people! This was happening to the other EPDP but we stopped it. I think
what we should do is to ask that each stakeholder group appoints three
members. Unfortunately CSG (BC and IPC in specific) do not want to
acknowledge that there is an imbalance while the imbalance is just obvious!
We can't fix it now but I just thought I flag it.

"Notably, this Working Group will employ a “Representative + Open” model,
consisting of Members, Participants, and Observers. Each of the following
groups are invited to appoint up to three Members: RySG, RrSG, IPC, BC,
ISPCP, NCSG, ccNSO, ALAC, GAC, SSAC, and RSSAC."
