NCSG Leadership meeting with ICANN CEO

And these were the questions/talking points I have submitted:

NCSG Leadership talking points with ICANN CEO

   1.

   Post-pandemic return to ICANN meetings
   1.

      NCSG would be interested in learning what are ICANNs plans for a
      possible return to face-to-face or hybrid meetings. Given the current
      situation of vaccine rollout around the world and possible discrimination
      against individuals coming from more affected areas or who have taken
      vaccines that are not yet acknowledged by different sanitary authorities,
      we would like to know what are the Org's plans  has in order to help ease
      possible discrimination against some groups of attendees, or has
conducted
      any assessments regarding the current state of travel
restrictions for its
      upcoming 3/4 meeting locations.
      2.

      In case the community and board decides for a hybrid meeting in the
      upcoming year, does the org have any plans that are able to ensure equal
      levels of participation for individuals attending the meeting in both
      online and onsite formats ?

   Resources distribution and ABRs
   1.

      NCSG would like to discuss the distribution of resources around the
      community given our past experience with ABRs. Back in FY20, we were
      granted one ABR regarding a capacity building effort under the
condition of
      making this resource open enough to cater to broader Civil Society at
      ICANN. As much as we are thankful for the ABRs and the
opportunity to offer
      more opportunities to our members, we believe that this specific
situation
      might not have been ideal given that the conditional offer limited our
      course from fully dedicated to NCSGs issues and improvement.
Therefore, we
      would like to assess possibilities of developing joint opportunities
      dedicated exclusively to our community and members, especially
in light of
      a possible return to onsite/hybrid meetings.
