Nomination of Bruna Martins Dos Santos for NCSG Chair

My only concern about Bruna’s candidacy for NCSG chair is that she can no longer be NCUC chair! ;-)
But based on demonstrated reliability we need someone like her to chair NCSG so I am happy to stand in the long line of cheerleaders.

Now I will look through the gigantic string of emails to see if anyone was nominated for NCUC chair
If not, I will nominate Robin Gross ;-)

To echo's Robin's statement, this is not an easy position, so +1 for Bruna for standing up and I also believe she will be able to pull it off!

Have a nice day,

I want to add my unqualified support for Bruna! It has been an absolute pleasure working with Bruna over the past few years. She is hardworking, dedicated to the fundamental values of NCSG, and works well with everyone. She has put a tremendous amount of energy into getting us resources for training and development, and I know will continue that work as Chair. On that note, we coordinated well on the development of Additional Budget Requests this year with a focus on leadershp development, and I am pleased to note that not only did NCUC get its proposals accepted, so did NCSG. While we had been planning for face to face opportunities, I am confident that Bruna will be able to figure out how to make this work in our new virtual reality, which will be an ongoing challenge for the foreseeable future.

I look forward to supporting her in her new role as Chair, and encourage you all to support her and work together.

Kind regards,

Stephanie Perrin

Colleagues,

It is my pleasure to nominate Bruna Martins Dos Santos to serve as our next NCSG Chair.

Bruna has done an amazing job as the NCUC Chair for the last several years, bringing more stability and resources to noncommercial users at ICANN. I’m quite sure that Bruna would bring her excellent chairing skills to NCSG and serve the entire stakeholder group with her continued hard work and intelligence on our behalf.

I welcome any “seconds” to this nomination of Bruna and hope she will accept it and be willing to serve in the capacity as our next chair (not an easy job!).

Best,you
