Hey Vaibhav,
I find it very unfortunate to see this level of discourse here. After all
the Meet the Candidates calls it was clear to us all how important it was
to foster a good environment on the lists just so all our members felt ok
with giving in their opinions and so on.
Of course debates can get very heated at times, but it is important to
operate in such lists bearing in mind the expected standards of behavior
and also reminding to keep some level of civility with our colleagues. But
I would also like to remind you that we are the ones responsible on whether
a conversation can remain within the lines of a civil yet heated discussion
or if it goes down the path of accusations.
So, for next time, it might be good to keep in mind that we are all
volunteers here and very committed to the things we discuss. And this level
of accusations wont take us anywhere.
Best regards,
Bruna Santos
