NCSG Election Clarifications

Vaibhav,
Stop talking nonsense. Pay attention to the facts. The problem here is not that “veterans” are picking their successors, or we are being “undemocratic.” The problem is these two things:

1)      There is a rule that requires that no less than 2 of the 6 councilors will be women,

2)      Only one woman was running for the second position our rules require be occupied by a female.
Therefore, as a simple matter of logic, that one woman will be elected.

This has been explained several times. What do you not understand about this? The rule is clearly stated in the charter. Unless your goal is to needlessly divide people, please make sure that all your comments about the election reflect these facts.  IF you don’t like the rule (I think it is badly formulated) work to change it.

Some what good but Muller - IF there are 100 people who vote - and 50 abstain - 30 Vote - Where are the ratios ? How can you call that an Election ? Where is the purpose of elections - Why to waste everybody’s time - Let Tapani or Robin and a Few Vetrans in the policy work choose who their successors will be - let it be nomination by wise people.
