Hello everyone. I just got off the planning committee call, discussing 
the topics we want to see for ICANN69.  I expressed our support for the 
proposal from Rysg to discuss the economic realities of the DNS 
marketplace, I think this kind of learning is long overdue and hard to 
find elsewhere.  ALAC has come in with another proposal on measuring 
consumer protection post EPDP, which I think is repetitive of other 
sessions on DNS abuse, as well as premature given EPDP has just finished 
and has yet to be discussed in final form at GNSO Council.

I volunteered us to put in a proposal, deadline is midnight PST today.  
I think we should talk about WS2 issues and the Human Rights Impact 
assessment, but I have not discussed this with our folks on the 
committee.  We need to push the HRIA or it is going to fall off the 
agenda folks, so I am hoping you will agree and we can flesh out a high 
interest topic today.  I am copying two folks who I know have been 
active on this, please poke others that you know and lets see what we 
can do.

Other topics are of course welcome, but time is short.

I am sending the stats from the prep week sessions last time.....if 
there are things we want to see in prep week, please let me know.  i 
cannot decipher our participation from these stats, so please tell me 
how useful you found these sessions...if we fail to get support for a 
plenary, we might get relegated to prep week.
