Yeah I dont like A much to be frank but if C is not available the hybrid model will be a disaster IMO, I dont think we will actually get more control in the hybrid scenario than in a department scenario.

Thanks for the clarification! So even if it turns out the mechanism is
one we don't like, we don't want the board to have any choice?

The danger with A is, as with so many ICANN things, capture (by ORG or
some part of the community).
