Hey Milton,

This is the best write up on this topic that I’ve read so far, so thanks for taking the time to come up with it. As far as ICANN is concerned, I’m fascinated by your proposal to leverage the Registry Transition Process to seek better protections for .org registrants!! I have to admit that I had not considered that at all, and think there is something to work with on this - the beginnings of a strategy that might actually make practical sense to pursue.

I also very much like your proposed approach of focusing on contractually binding obligations regarding PIR, instead of addressing concerns on who owns it, at least so far as ICANN is concerned. I know you mentioned this on-list here, but would prefer to give you a hard time than give you the satisfaction of outright agreeing with you. :-)
