Welcome Michail,

good to have you. This will enhance diversity, something we need in the GNSO and NCUC more thas ever.

Welcome!

As someone who was partially responsible for connecting up
the Soviet Union to the net in 1990, and being in charge of
the link to the west during the failed coup that led to the
Soviet Union dissolving in 1991, I am especially happy to see
you join.

My regards to Alexander :)

Hello Everyone,
I am very happy to welcome our new organizational and
individual members who were approved by the NCSG EC this month.
They were successfully added to this mailing list and so should be
able to read this welcoming email, and follow the discussions.

*Individuals:*

Daniel Dasig, Philippines

Bukola Oronti, Nigeria

Sabrina Wilkinson, France

Sebastian Wee Kiat Hoe, Singapore

*Organizations:*

Internet Protection Society, Russian Federation.

I am happy as the NCSG chair, to support new and existing members in
order to assist them in becoming fully involved, in order to
participate in our policy discussions and contribute to the work we
do. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have questions or
would like advice on where to start. We have many experienced
members and officers who are happy to help. I have put some in cc
for your easy reference

There are many opportunities to learn about policy development, but
a good place to start is our monthly policy call, which usually
takes place during the week of the Generic Names Supporting
Organization (GNSO) Council call. The full details and schedule of
Council activities can be found here :
https://gnso.icann.org/en/group-activities/calendar. Watch for
announcements of policy and working group webinars on this list,
they are targeted to help bring us all up to date with what is
happening in different groups and topic areas. ICANN has started a
new Webinar week prior to our public meetings, and new members might
find this information to be concise and useful. Here is the link for
the meeting we just held in Kobe:
_https://meetings.icann.org/en/kobe64-prep-week _

Rafik Dammak is the chair of the NCSG Policy committee, and he
shares updates on calls for public comment regularly on this list.
To follow the public comments calls, go here
https://www.icann.org/public-comments#open-public. The next policy
committee meeting will be announced soon; our ICANN support person
Maryam Bakoshi will be sending out reminders for that meeting.

Here is some basic information you should keep somewhere:

is our website where recent activity and upcoming meetings are
posted. * List of working groups and members involved
