Dear Mr. Sam,
Actually i got your point and it is valid, and now days there are many scholars call for adopting the term of "Environmental refugee" i can strongly claim that this term born in Africa. but also the session this time focus on refugees according to 1951 and 1969 convention who flee their countries for well founded fear of  persecution for one or more grounds set up on the both conventions.

Dear Colleagues,

I have a comment here, but first a thanks to those who are building this panel during the DRIF. This is an issue that will grow over time, even if current conflicts subside.

Much of the current attention of Refugee Digital Rights occurs in the context of conflict displacement, with both internal and external refugees. However, coming down the pipeline in the next 30-50 years will be a growing number (a tsunami) of climate refugees, some internal and some forced to leave their homelands. There is time to prepare to deal with those migrations. The migration will be both complex and have complex consequences. The impact of climate change (today) in Africa is being felt in domestic agriculture, a sector in which the majority of the work is conducted by women. The solutions will be both social and technical. One can quickly see the complexity here, and how digital rights as part of ICT for sustainable survival figure large in any sustainable survival (with dignity) planning.

All the best with the session and may this help plant the seeds of something both big and viral.
