For those who were not able to join this call yesterday, please note that the motion to adopt the EPDP final report recommendations was deferred until 4 March. This deferral was on procedural grounds and will allow the GNSO Council a full 10 days to read the report. I am disappointed by the delay, because NCSG Councillors had come to this meeting prepared, informed, and ready to vote on this issue. But this is ICANN after all... you would not design a new institution based upon how decisions are made here. I encourage all NCSG members to listen to the first hour of yesterday's Council call. It gives you a good glimpse into the kinds of arguments that members of the EPDP team have been hearing for seven months now.
