It is worth contrasting the Domain Name Rights Coalition's response with some of the other submissions. The ALAC has taken a very different view in [their response](https://mm.icann.org/pipermail/comments-rds-whois2-review-04sep18/attachments/20181118/956c991f/AL-ALAC-ST-1118-01-00-EN-0001.pdf), which is largely supportive of the recommendations because, they note, "The primary concern for ALAC in this review is the accuracy of registrant data (WHOIS data) and its use by security and law enforcement bodies in addressing the misuse and abuse of the DNS system."
One wonders why that is their priority.
