Hi all,

Another public comment opened this week! This time is about the final
report from on CCWG accountability worstream 2 recommendations
https://www.icann.org/public-comments/ccwg-acct-ws2-final-2018-03-30-en.
This means that we are reaching soon the closure of years of efforts to
improve ICANN accountability with the IANA stewardship transition.

I created a google doc here
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1fOUFHiTEvgafKYUfqWpUlX1QUGM_5jp0Yjdd6j1xvyA/edit
to
kick-off the discussion.

We commented previously most of the subgroups recommendations (initial and
final recommendations). You can find previous comments here
<https://community.icann.org/display/gnsononcomstake/Public+Comments+-+2018>
and
here
<https://community.icann.org/display/gnsononcomstake/Public+Comments+-+2017>
. This final report is consolidating all of them and so the purpose of this
public consultation is to find any inconsistency between the
recommendations since they were developed in separate subgroups. The
comments are not supposed to ask for substantive changes in the
recommendations as they went already through public comments.

This is a good opportunity for anyone to volunteer to draft a comment as
they can learn more about the recommendations on accountability (and so
getting insight on what is perceived as issues) and with fresh eyes they
can detect any inconsistency or contradictions between the recommendations.
We have several NCSG members in the different subgroups and several of them
lead those teams as rapporteurs. They will for sure help and give advices
when needed.

Please let me know offlist if you want to volunteer for the drafting. A
team of volunteers would be perfect to do the work and they can share the
burden. I will be there to help and guide you.

You can find previous public comment submitted by NCSG here
https://community.icann.org/display/gnsononcomstake/Public+Comments+-+2018.

Best Regards,

Rafik Dammak
