[Public Comments] Call for Volunteers

Hi all,

ICANN published today has published a public comment on Initial Report on
the Protections for Certain Red Cross Names in all gTLDs.

This public comment is interesting as it is result of rarely used mechanism
to reconvene a PDP in order amend a consensus policy. It was response to a
GAC advice and the ICANN board returning back the recommendations delivered
by the working group previously. It is also about an issue that NCSG made a
position few year ago in term of process: names protection for redcross.

Please let me know offlist if you want to volunteer for the drafting. It is
good to have several people to volunteer together and work as team so they
can share the burden. I will support you during the drafting if you need
any help. It is also a policy matter and so an opportunity to learn about
issues discussed before and understand why positions were made on them.
