Dear Farzi,
It saddens me to hear that you will not be able to make it to Panama.
However I am sure that you will be there, as always. If there is anything
we could help with as members, please do not hesitate to reach out. In any
case, thank you for sharing this opportunity with us.
Given that I am able to travel to Panama and have been cleared by OFAC, I
would like to be considered for the travel slot if possible. It would be
extremely beneficial to be present at this policy forum for several
reasons. Firstly, I'd be able to support my colleagues in the EC and the
NCUC as a whole where need be as EC representing AP region. Second, a small
team of volunteers and I have been strategizing for WT5 New GTLD Subsequent
Procedures meetings in Panama where the work would probably have been
wrapped up and the public comment would be out and I would be ecstatic to
actually be able to participate in the meetings face to face at that
significant time. And thirdly, and most importantly I've been paying very
close attention to Council meetings and on the policies which the council
focuses on thus, I would not miss the chance to be able to engage F2F.
Thanks again for sharing this opportunity, and if it doesn't work out,
trust that I'll be participating virtually.
Best,
Elsa
