Hi everyone,

Just a quick personal thought here - those wishing to volunteer to take Farzaneh’s place should make a nomination themselves (Farzeneh’s deadline should be sufficient to cover all timezones) and provide an extended statement of interest, including reasons why they wish to attend, intended contribution and benefits of their participation (these doesn’t need to be long, and could be various, such as ’new participant keen to expand knowledge and experience to assist the community’).

Whilst people sharing their support for particular individuals is great, I think the statement of interest should be the primary deciding factor and the decision can then be judged (I presume by the EC) on the basis of greater substance. There might be a fresh face we haven’t yet met who can make a real impact.

Thanks!

Nick

I’d like to transfer this travel slot if travel constituency allows. You need to be able to travel to Panama( dont need a visa) been cleared by OFAC. So those who have already traveled to ICANN meetings can apply. Please send me your statement of interest by 11 pm utc. Id like to send a name to Travel constituency today.
