Travel support to ICANN Meetings - PIR Sponsorship

Hi

This is NCUC Travel Policy
https://www.ncuc.org/get-involved/travel-policy/

Those who will get travel funding remain mainly defined by the following
items (replacing NCUC per NCSG/NCUC/NPOC):

- Are actively and verifiably engaged in NCSG/NCUC/NPOC work, for example,
constituency governance, NCSG/NCUC/NPOC policy discussions, or GNSO or
cross-community working groups;
- Need to be at a given meeting because the above-mentioned work will be
advanced there;
I have contacted NPOC Chair and asked for advice if we get candidates from
NPOC.
The Chair can then discuss with her EC the profile of the candidates and
pass them on to NCUC EC.

The same can be done if we get an NCSG Independent member applying to NCSG
Chair and NCSG EC.

Asking for advice to other leaderships (whether NCSG or NPOC) will be
important for NCUC have a path to follow

Only 2 slots are allocated per meeting and we have 3 groups: NCUC, NPOC and
NCSG Independent

NCUC EC has the process ready for ICANN63

2019 is another year, another election will have passed and NCSG will have
different procedures in place.

I am thankful for NPOC Chair being open to dialogue and I'm sure the advice
will be key for our procedures.

Best,

Renata
