Corinne
As Joe Kane correctly stated, NTIA director Redl promised Senator Cruz he would do this in order to get his appointment cleared. We’ve known this was coming for months. IGP intends to file comment supporting the transition, and we expect most others in this space will too. We might want to organize a collective effort as NCSG or civil society.

Hi Enrique,

I do think the fact that they are even raising the question of whether the IANA transition should be unwound is worrisome, there is nothing inevitable about asking that question.

Kind regards,

Corinne

Thanks, Corinne!
I wouldn't say that the language regarding the so-called multistakeholder
model is worrisome. Any governmental agency in charge of designing
or implementing public policies about the Internet should be asking the
same questions.

Regards from the Far South,

Enrique
