Nominations Period for NCSG Elections Started Today

Thank you for the nomination, James, and I appreciate your confidence in me.

This nomination would have been awkward to accept, as I have recently been elected as the Chair of the NPOC Policy Committee, and the two roles are incompatible, but I delayed a decision as I do think that it is important that we have an experienced ICANN  contributor, with a good understanding of the various parts and players in this complex organisation, in the role.

Now that Stephanie Perrin has officially accepted her nomination, I will decline the nomination, and I will support her for NCSG Chair.
