NCSG Elections 2018: nomination of Elsa Saade for GNSO Council

Dear NCSG,

I would like to nominate Elsa Saade for the GNSO Council seat.

Elsa is very much familiar with the GNSO work - she is a regular listener
to GNSO calls and attendee of the GNSO sessions at ICANN meetings and NCSG
policy calls. Furthermore, she was an alternate for one of our GNSO
Councillors (Arsene) in Panama - and while we were missing Arsene big time,
she took this role and fulfilled the duties in the best way possible.

Elsa is currently holding a leadership position at NCUC as an executive
committee member and I know that she is well engaged there. I hope she is
willing to move to policy work with us and is ready to put her candidacy
forward for the Council.

I know that in her day job she has been working on the projects related to
privacy, freedom of expression, human rights in general - so she has a huge
experience advocating for the values NCSG stands for.

Elsa, what would you say? I do hope you accept this nomination.
