[Call For Volunteers] Public Comment : ICANN Draft FY19 Operating Plan and Budget and Five-Year Operating Plan Update

Hi all,

A new public consultation is open, this time with regard to ICANN operating
plan and budget for the fiscal year 2019 (more information here where you
can find all details
https://www.icann.org/public-comments/fy19-budget-2018-01-19-en).

As part of the empowered community through the GNSO, NCSG has to pay
attention to the budget of ICANN and participate in the planning cycle, in
particular with the what heard previously from the CEO and Board Chair
about incoming financial issues.
In many aspects, the budget indicates the ongoing strategy and focus, also
having an impact on different areas. For example, a decreasing budget
allocated for policy development process and its resourcing will impact
ongoing work or initiation of new policies discussion.

As NCSG, we should review the budget and operating plan, and submit our
comment if we have any concern. Please let me know offlist if you want to
volunteer. We need a group of volunteers to be the penholders in order to
